The top 25 countries in the KidsRights Index 2026 comprise of 20 countries from Western Europe, which is 2 more than last year. Andorra and San Marino from the Western Europe are the new entrants. 72% of the countries from Western Europe are categorized in Cluster 1 – top performing countries, based on overall performance in the KidsRights Index 2026. It remains the only region in the world where the highest proportion of countries feature in Cluster 1.
