None of the countries from the South Asia region feature in Cluster 1 – top performing countries, based on overall performance in the KidsRights Index 2026. 25% of the countries from the region feature in Cluster 2 and the highest proportion of countries from the region feature in Cluster 3 at 38%. Afghanistan is the only country from the region that is categorized in the lowest cluster.
